What is the ICE-OUT contest?

Plummeting Paul will be sitting on the ice on a chair keeping watch of the timer that is attached to 40lb block. In the ICE-OUT contest, people make their best guess as to when Plummeting Paul will see the block drop through the ice that will trigger a timing mechanism declaring the winner!

Who can play?

You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the contest

 

Where will ICE-OUT Mannequin be located?

ICE-OUT Plummeting Paul will make himself comfortable on Lake Monomonac in Pickerel Point Cove.

 

Is it easy to play?

Yes, it is. For each entry, you predict the Month, Day, Hour and Minute that you think the ice will melt enough for the block to fall thru the ice and trigger the timing mechanism.

When does the contest begin and end?

Plummeting Paul will be placed on the ice the beginning of February
(when the cove is frozen enough to support him).

 

How will the winner be determined?

The winner will be determined by the timer when the ice melts enough so that the block falls through the ice and trips the timer. The winner/s will be those whose guesses are the closest to the exact Month, Date, Hour and Minute of the winning time (either before or after).
